This is the Wisconsin DOJ course that is a classroom course of instruction that meets the requirements for your Conceal Carry Permit. The majority of this course of instruction is on the legal aspects of Conceal carry, and weapon safety, with limited exposure to weapons handling and or shooting.

If you already have practical instruction in weapon safety, handling, fundamentals of marksmanship and range time, then this course is for you. If you do not and want more hands on the weapon system to include everything mentioned, then we recommend taking Basic NRA Pistol Course

NRA BASIC PISTOL COURSE
This course of instruction starts in the classroom where students learn Weapons Safety, characteristics, and capabilities of a pistol to include disassembly and reassembly. Learn the fundamentals of marksmanship, and dry fire procedures based on the National Rifle Association curriculum. After lunch we move to the range where we work on weapons safety, and the fundamentals of basic marksmanship

Introduction to Semi-Automatic Handgun
Pistol 100 Course
This course of instruction starts in the classroom where students learn Weapons Safety, characteristics, and capabilities of a semi-automatic pistol, disassembly, and reassembly. Students learn the fundamentals of marksmanship, and dry fire procedures. After lunch we move to the range where we work on weapons safety, presentation, accuracy, and magazine changes. Through our systematic methodology you will will achieve confidence, competence, new skills and best of all, peace of mind!

Mastering the Basics
Pistol 200 Course
This intense one-day course starts at the range and after conducting a full safety brief students will work the Basic fundamentals of marksmanship. While working on your accuracy students will learn the draw, presentation, combat reloads, working through malfunctions and multi target engagement. Students will learn tactics and techniques while shooting different drills using static and knockdown steel plates.

Pistol 300 Course
After meeting at the range and conducting a full safety brief students will build off what was learned in Pistol 200. Students will work on fundamentals while focusing on techniques for conceal carry and developing effective skills for weapons retention, offhand shooting, turning drills, and barricade shooting. While shooting steel, students will be taught multiple defensive hand gun skills to increase time on target and performance. Instructors will significantly sharpen students gun handling, speed and accuracy

Shooting and Moving
Pistol / Rifle 400
After meeting at the range and conducting a full safety brief students will build off what was learned in prior courses. This course introduces transitioning from rifle to pistol and weapons “flow”. Moving safely with weapon systems to and from cover / barricades and shooting while moving. Students continue to build on accuracy and speed while shooting on steel and against the timer. Range of fire is 7 to 100 meters.

No it does not.

Can I shoot a caliber rifle other than .223 or 5.56?
We prefer pistol caliber or .223 / 5.56. But for this course of instruction 7.62 x 39 is allowed, nothing bigger.

Scenario based Training
Pistol 500
After meeting at the range and conducting a full safety brief students will build off what was learned in prior courses to include incapacitated shooter. This course introduces Scenario Based Training. We begin to incorporate stress with tactical and dynamic movement while continuing to build your accuracy, speed, and confidence.

Introduction to the Carbine Rifle
Rifle 100
This course of instruction starts in the classroom where new AR gun owners seeking familiarity and comfort as well as marksmanship skills will find this course to be a perfect foundation. Students will learn weapons safety and become thoroughly familiar with their carbine and their capabilities with it to include types of cartridges, ballistics, shooting positions and dry fire procedures. After which Students will work on parts identification, disassembly, and reassembly of the carbine. Proper mounting of optics will be done at this time. After lunch we move to the range and after a safety brief, weapons sight in is conducted, yard lines 25-100 meters will be shot from different firing positions. After which students will continue to work accuracy, and presentation from up close.

After meeting at the range and conducting a full safety brief students will reconfirm their site in “zero” and will work the Basic fundamentals of marksmanship. Students will work on tactics techniques to employ the semi-automatic rifle for self-defense. While shooting on paper students will learn presentation, combat reloads, working through malfunctions and multi target engagement and build their skill set for close quarter engagement, Students end the day with shooting drills on steel.

Stretching the Legs
Rifle 500
This is a 2-day course of instruction where you will push the limits of your .223/5.56. In this course you dial and hone in your points of performance and marksmanship skills while engaging targets / steel up to 400-500 meters. You will shoot different positions and yard lines supported and unsupported, to include snaps and movers. You will receive instruction on wind calling, range estimation and proper optics mounting and how to achieve the max capability of your weapon system.

women’s empowerment
In conjunction with Leadership Academy of Martial Arts we offer this 2-day course of instruction for women. Classroom instruction on situational awareness, combat and tactical mindset, and the principles of attack recognition. Students will receive unarmed and armed self-defense training, which meets the requirements of training for your Wisconsin Conceal Carry Weapons Permit. There will be scenario based practical training in emergency evacuation and how to move loved ones out of dangerous situations.

HOME DEFENSE SEMINAR
This seminar, lecture is held in a classroom environment where mindset, criminal attack phases, Wisconsin law to include Castle Doctrine and Escalation of force taught. We will discuss layers of security and have a local threat brief by local Law enforcement. You will finish with practical training in how to safely remove yourself and loved ones from a dangerous environment.
